1. Our commitment

VMA Global Trade LLC is committed to making vmaglobaltrade.com accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology. We treat accessibility as part of building the site, not as an add-on, and we work to align with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508 expectations for commercial websites.

2. Conformance standard

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning and neurological disabilities. This site is partially conformant: most of the content meets the standard, and we correct issues as they are identified.

3. Measures we take

  • Semantic HTML structure with a single main landmark, ordered headings and descriptive page titles.
  • Keyboard operability for all interactive elements, including the navigation menu and the FAQ accordion.
  • Visible focus indicators and a "Skip to content" link at the top of every page.
  • Color combinations checked for contrast against the WCAG AA thresholds for text and interface components.
  • Text that reflows without horizontal scrolling down to a 320 pixel viewport width.
  • Full support for the prefers-reduced-motion setting: when it is enabled in your operating system, animations, parallax and auto-scrolling elements are disabled.
  • Form fields with persistent labels, explicit error messages and required-field indicators that do not rely on color alone.
  • Decorative graphics marked as such so screen readers skip them.

4. Accessibility features you can use

  • Zoom: the layout supports browser zoom up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
  • Reduced motion: enable it in Windows (Settings → Accessibility → Visual effects), macOS (System Settings → Accessibility → Display) or iOS/Android accessibility settings.
  • Keyboard: use Tab and Shift+Tab to move, Enter or Space to activate, and Escape to close the mobile menu.

5. Known limitations

We are aware of the following and are working on them:

  • Some PDF documents supplied by manufacturers or laboratories, such as test certificates, are not tagged for screen readers. We provide the information in an accessible format on request.
  • Third-party content, such as embedded tracking pages hosted by carriers, is outside our control and may not meet the same standard.

6. Feedback and assistance

7. Alternative formats

Proposals, invoices, inspection reports and any content published on this site can be provided in large print, plain text or another accessible format at no additional cost. Contact us with the format you need.
