Sourcing advisory · China to U.S.

Buy in China
without flying blind.

We find the real manufacturer, verify who they are, negotiate in Mandarin and inspect the goods before you pay the balance. You buy direct from the factory. We are paid by you, never by them.

Why VMA

The cheapest quote
is rarely the cheapest order.

The trading company that answers in perfect English is usually not the factory. The price that undercuts everyone usually hides a thinner material. The sample that arrives perfect is not always what ships. We work on the ground so you find that out before your money leaves, not after.

You pay us. The factory never does. That is the whole difference.

What we do

From a product idea to goods on your dock.

Take the whole project, or only the step where you are stuck.

01

Supplier Search & Verification

Factories, not middlemen

We find who actually manufactures your product, confirm the company exists as it claims, and tell you plainly which candidates are worth your time.

  • Business license and export record checks
  • Factory or trading company, stated clearly
  • Capacity, equipment and certifications
02

Price & Terms Negotiation

Three quotes, compared line by line

We quote the same specification with several factories, in Mandarin, and negotiate unit price, tooling, minimums, payment terms and Incoterms on your behalf.

  • Comparable quotes on one sheet
  • MOQ and tooling cost negotiation
  • Payment terms that protect you
03

Samples & Specification

Approved before production

We turn what you want into a specification the factory cannot misread, manage the sample rounds and document exactly what you approved.

  • Written technical specification
  • Sample rounds coordinated and shipped
  • Golden sample sealed and recorded
04

Quality Inspection

Eyes in the factory

Independent inspection during and after production, with photo and video evidence, so problems surface while the goods are still in China.

  • Pre-production and in-line checks
  • Pre-shipment inspection to AQL levels
  • Photo and video report within 48 hours
05

Import & Compliance Advisory

Legal to land, legal to sell

We flag what your product needs to enter the United States and to be sold there, before an order is placed, not after a shipment is held.

  • HTS classification guidance and duty estimate
  • FDA, FCC, CPSIA and labeling requirements
  • Certificates and test reports collected at origin
06

Logistics Coordination

We coordinate, you contract

We compare freight quotes, coordinate with your forwarder and customs broker, and follow every milestone until the goods reach your door.

  • Freight quotes compared side by side
  • Booking coordinated with your forwarder
  • Shipping documents checked before departure

How it works

Five steps from your brief to your delivery.

01

Brief

You tell us the product, the target price and the volume. We tell you straight away whether it is worth sourcing in China.

02

Shortlist

We search, screen and verify manufacturers, and hand you a shortlist with what each one really is and what they quoted.

03

Negotiation

We negotiate price, minimums, tooling and payment terms in Mandarin, and get a sample approved and sealed.

04

Production

We inspect during and after production, with photo and video evidence, before you release the balance payment.

05

Shipment

We check the documents, coordinate with your forwarder and broker, and follow the shipment until it is delivered.

FAQ

What buyers ask before the first project.

If yours is not here, write to us. Straight answers, including when the answer is no.

Ask us directly

No. You contract and pay the manufacturer directly, which keeps the price transparent and the ownership of the goods yours from the start. We represent you in that process: we find the factory, negotiate, inspect and coordinate. Where a client prefers us to handle payment or importation, that is a separate written agreement, not our default service.

A fixed project fee agreed before we start, or a monthly retainer for ongoing programs. You know the number in advance and it does not change with the size of your order.

Never. We are paid by you and only by you. A sourcing agent who also collects from the supplier has no reason to negotiate your price down, and that conflict is the reason most buyers overpay.

Yes, and it is one of the most common requests. We confirm whether the company is a factory or a trading company, check its licenses and export history, and visit it if the order justifies it. Many clients start here.

It is set by each factory, not by us. It varies from a few hundred units for simple goods to several thousand where tooling is involved. We tell you the real minimum before you invest time in a supplier.

The purchase contract is between you and the manufacturer, so the claim is yours. We prepare the ground so it rarely gets there: verified suppliers, staged payments, written specifications and inspection before the balance is paid. If it does happen, we support you in the negotiation and the evidence.

We coordinate them. Freight is contracted with a forwarder and the customs entry is filed by a licensed customs broker, both engaged by you. We compare quotes, check the documents and follow the milestones.

A verified shortlist with quotes takes 5 to 10 business days. Samples usually add two to four weeks, and production varies by product and season. Chinese New Year shifts everything, so we plan around it.
